Producers’ View

Author and Screenwriter, Jerry Bader and Voice Actor and Sound Designer, Sash Mutze, got together to create the AudioZoo Podcast Network, a platform for presenting immersive radio-style podcast dramas (Theatre of the Mind) for a mature audience interested in the Neo-Noir style of storytelling: adult tales of desire, struggle, and survival.

We follow Alfred Hitchcock’s aphorism that stories are real life with the dull parts taken out. Although our tales of corruption and survival are fiction, they are in fact a funhouse mirror of reality, with characters that push the envelope of acceptable behaviour, while remaining all too human and remarkably relatable. These are tales of complicated, damaged souls with good hearts: a reflection of an era of cynicism, fear of war, and social disruption.
